Im Liat, the working hands and the beating heart behind studio lil. 

I live and work in a small kibutz, in the mountains of theWestern Galilee where the land is ancient and full of stories and wonder.

Ive been shaping gold into jewelry for 20 years now, and transforming clay into objects for the last 10 years. Filled with endless respect to the preciousness of the metals, stones, clay and earth i work with, i step into my little studio every morning like its the first day of creation.

Inspired by old traditions and cultures, archeological finds and universal symbols, I travel the world, gathering ideas and bringing them up to date into todays crazy, fast and furious world. I seek for the relevancy of them in an age when handmade slow making craftsmanship can be seen as a radical act.
